Marcelo Cervone. Actor. Musician.
Marcelo is a London based actor-musician, trained at the American Musical Theatre Academy of London (AMTA). He also has a baccalaureate in Performing Arts from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge. He is originally from Brazil and grew up in Portugal.
He plays the Saxophone, Guitar, Bass, Drums and sings to a professional standard, also plays the Piano intermediately and is currently learning how to play the Trumpet.
As a musician he is a performer, songwriter and composer, with experience composing for film. He also fronts his own band called The Vone. His music varies, but has a focus on Rock, Blues, Funk and Jazz. As an actor he plays both in theatre and on screen. On stage this includes plays, both classical and contemporary, as well as musicals.
He graduated in July 2015 and has been working ever since. He's worked with the award winning theatre company Action To The Word, performing in their production of Dracula at Latitude Festival 2015 and at the Arts Theatre and is currently under-studying all four Kinks in the UK tour of Sunny Afternoon, which will be on the road until May 2017.
